Churros with Hot Chocolate

  • Harina de trigo
    250g
  • Agua
    250ml
  • Sal
    1 pizca
  • Aceite de girasol
    500ml
  • Azúcar
    para espolvorear

    Boil water with salt and a tablespoon of oil.

    Remove from heat and add flour all at once.

    Stir vigorously until a smooth dough forms.

    Let the dough rest 10 minutes.

    Heat plenty of oil to 180°C.

    Put dough in a churrera or piping bag.

    Fry churros in strips until golden brown.

    Drain on paper towels.

    Sprinkle with sugar.

    Serve with thick hot chocolate.
