Dolmades (Stuffed Grape Leaves)

Traditional Greek stuffed rolls: grape leaves filled with rice, fresh herbs and pine nuts, served with lemon.

  • Hojas de parra en salmuera
    100g
  • Arroz de grano corto
    200g
  • Cebolla
    2 unidades
  • Piñones
    50g
  • Pasas
    50g
  • Menta fresca
    1 manojo
  • Eneldo
    1/2 manojo
  • Limón
    3 unidades
  • Aceite de oliva
    100ml

    Soak grape leaves in warm water

    Sauté onion until translucent

  3. 3

    Add rice and pine nuts

  4. 4

    Stir in chopped herbs and lemon

  5. 5

    Cook rice until it starts to open

  6. 6

    Place a teaspoon on each leaf

  7. 7

    Roll into compact little packets

  8. 8

    Arrange tightly in a pot

  9. 9

    Cover with water, oil and lemon

  10. 10

    Simmer gently for 45 minutes
