Mediterranean Salad

  • Lechuga variada
    200g
  • Tomates cherry
    150g
  • Queso feta
    100g
  • Aceitunas kalamata
    50g
  • Pepino
    1/2
  • Aceite de oliva virgen extra
    3 cucharadas
  • Limón
    1/2
  • Orégano
    al gusto

📋 Instructions

    Wash and dry all the mixed lettuce leaves well. Tear the larger leaves by hand into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a wide salad bowl.

    Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. If very large, quarter them. Add to the salad bowl.

    Peel the cucumber and cut it into thin slices or half-moons. Add to the mixture.

    Add the kalamata olives whole or halved according to preference.

    Crumble the feta cheese with your fingers into irregular pieces and distribute over the salad.

    Prepare the dressing: in a small bowl, mix extra virgin olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, salt, black pepper and dried oregano to taste. Beat with a fork until emulsified.

    Drizzle the salad with the dressing just before serving. If dressed too early, the leaves will become wilted.

    Decorate with some fresh oregano or basil leaves on top.
