Green Tea Mochi

Traditional Japanese sweet: glutinous rice paste filled with ice cream or red bean paste, dusted with matcha.

  • Harina de arroz glutinoso
    150g
  • Azúcar
    50g
  • Agua
    200ml
  • Pasta de judía roja (anko)
    150g
  • Matcha en polvo
    para espolvorear
  • Maicena
    para manipular

    Mix glutinous rice flour with sugar.

    Add water and stir until dissolved.

    Cover and microwave 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Mix and microwave 1 more minute.

  5. 5

    Let cool slightly.

    Divide dough into 8 portions.

    Flatten each portion with floured hands.

    Place filling in center.

    Close forming a ball.

  10. 10

    Dust with matcha or cornstarch.
